Fellow Ghanaians:
The Executive Council of the GCABC has slated Sunday, November 29,
2009, 2PM to 4PM for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections
of officers. The meeting and elections will be held at Kwantlen
Polytechnic University, 12666 72nd Avenue, Surrey, Room D 128
This is a very important meeting and we call on community members
to be there in your numbers.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lovelace Doodo, our Electoral Officer is currently
accepting nominations for the following positions:
President
Vice-President
General Secretary
Treasurer
Public Relations Officer
Youth & Children Coordinator
Five Advisory Board of Directors
Please, call Mr. Doodo at 604.598.0894 to submit your nominations.
To paraphrase one sage, people who fail to elect their leaders
are ruled by fools.
Please, be there to help elect officers to run the affairs of the
association for the next two years.
We hope we can count on your usual enthusiastic support for a successful
meeting.
