Ghana’s new world champion, Joseph “King Kong” Agbeko will be ushered into the Boxing Hall of Fame, which event is expected to take place later in the year.
Agbeko, who became world champion after dethroning Nicaraguan Luis “El Demoledor” Perez for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Bantamweight crown, would thus become the sixth man after D.K. Poison, Azumah Nelson, Nana Yaw Konadu, Ike Quartey and Alfred Kotey to enjoy this prestigious status.
